Dear Friends,  

Announcing the second Concert of our 30th.Season; combined with a Book launch, on Saturday November 25th.  

After the wonderful opening Concert performed by Andrew Zolinsky earlier this month, we now look forward to an evening of music from two of our finest musicians, Katherine Hunka playing violin and Finghin Collins, accompanying Katherine on piano. They will be playing works by Beethoven; Sonata in A minor: Wilson; “from the book of longing”: Janacek; Sonata for violin and piano; and Brahms; Sonata in G major.  

Our Patron, Mrs.Valerie Pakenham, who will have just published her new book entitled “Maria Edgeworth’s Letters from Ireland, 1782-1849”, by Lilliput Press, will be holding a Book Launch to mark this event and would be delighted if everyone coming to the concert would like to come to celebrate the launch with a drink before the concert at 6.30 pm in the Dining room.
