Féinics Quartet

Iulia Florescu, violin
Rohan Harron, violin
Jeannette Bogado, viola
Anna Varga, cello

Formed in 2024, Féinics Quartet brings together four vibrant performers from the Royal Irish Academy of Music. Already, they have performed across Ireland in events such as Killaloe Music Festival, West Cork Chamber Music Festival and EMPOWER 2026 Dublin. They recently made their USA debut on tour to San Francisco and Chicago. They have received masterclasses from members of renowned quartets such as the Ardeo Quartet, the Chiaroscuro Quartet and the Marmen Quartet, as well as the Belcea Quartet as part of the Wigmore Hall Festival in the Whyte Recital Hall, RIAM. Féinics Quartet are passionate about supporting the future of Irish music. As well as giving the first performance of a new work by their own violinist Rohan Harron on their USA tour, they are extremely excited to be working alongside an established Irish composer to commission a new work for the group, to be premiered later in 2026. They are particularly grateful to their wonderful coaches within RIAM for their constant support and expertise, Sarah Sew, Mia Cooper and Peggy Nolan.

Tara Quartet

Estella Fischer, violin
Eva Paturyan, violins
Katie Ní Mhaoláin, viola
Aobhín Keogh Daly, cello

Formed in September 2025 in Dublin, the Tara Quartet is based at the Royal Irish Academy of Music. Since its formation, the ensemble has been dedicated to developing a strong and unified artistic identity, with a particular focus on the core string quartet repertoire.
The quartet has received valuable artistic guidance from leading chamber musicians, including a masterclass with Corina Belcea of the Belcea Quartet. Further inspiration has come through work with Ruth Gibson and Donald Grant, as well as coachings with David Kenny and Sarah Sew, all of which have contributed significantly to the ensemble’s musical depth and interpretative clarity. The quartet will play at the Killaloe Music Festival and the West Cork Chamber Music Festival this summer.

The DMA Memory Book

In 2021, the DMA published a Memory Book, listing all concerts and music played since the first concert in 1987. The book has wonderful sketches from concerts at Tullynally drawn by the late Jeremy Williams. There are also several delightful short 'memories' from performers and audience members. Books are €10 each plus P&P at €3 per book and you can purchase them by contacting
derravaraghmusicassociation@gmail.com.
If you have booked to attend a forthcoming concert, you can reserve books to collect saving you the cost of postage.  We are now operating our events as 'cashless' so we ask you email your order to derravaraghmusicassociation@gmail.com in advance and pay into the DMA account directly and you can collect your books at the concert.
